Wetherham Boarding Kennels offer a comprehensive range of services for the care of your dog. We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality care and services available to pet owners.
Our management and staff are themselves dog owners, agility experts, breeders and exhibitors and all our boarders are given the same care we would expect for our own pets.
Our Boarding Facility has the benefit of real countryside walks which you are able to see on our Facebook age and the video/gallery on our site. We are a small concern with many years of experience and success looking after dogs.

Owned and operated by Nigel Harris, who is passionate about dogs and have owned and cared for various breeds over the years, the kennels are designed to the highest specifications, offering spacious accommodations with underfloor heating to ensure your dog's comfort.

Boarding Kennels
The boarding kennels have been designed to the highest specifications, providing spacious kennels with under floor heating.
We aim to provide a small number of kennels ensuring the best possible care and attention for the dogs enabling more one to one attention and exercise. Smaller numbers of dogs lead to less noise and stress
Doggy Day Care
Enjoy your holiday or free time while we take care of your dog.
We offer a limited number of regular day-boarding spots during the week—contact us to check availability.
For occasional daycare, we accept bookings up to two weeks in advance, subject to availability during busy periods.

Should your dog require medical attention during their stay vet care will be provided by our designated vet.
If your dog is registered with another surgery in the Bodmin, Camelford or Wadebridge area we would be happy to take your dog to their regular vet if you prefer.

Feeding
We currently supply Autarky, complete dry dog feed as the main feed for the kennels.
We can also feed any food that you wish to bring in.
Exercise
We can offer a variety of walks through paths and fields. See our video to see where the dogs are walked. (Off lead if owner's permission is given and the dog is well trained.)*
Playtime can also be in our secure exercise area.
*This spring we will have a new larger exercise area available, to offer dogs off lead walks in our field, where your four legged friends can run free.
Daily Routine
We pride ourselves that we go the extra mile in giving our guests extra time with our daily routine, we have a sociable kennels set up and often we run dogs that we know well together, or we give shy, nervous dogs separate walks. Dogs are always walked never left alone for too long.
We also clean our kennels thoroughly with specialist disinfectants.
We do an evening let out for each individual dog to check all is well before securing the kennels for the night.

Lauren Watts
Manager
Lauren has worked here since 2020. She has a passion for dogs and enjoys spending her time outside. She has a degree in Zoology and a distinction qualification in animal care. Lauren is a great asset to our team.
Evangeline Humphries
Assistant Manager
Evangeline has worked at Wetherham since 2017. She has a huge passion for animals of all shapes and sizes as well as for the outdoors. She has a degree in Animal Husbandry and Welfare as well as many years of experience here at the kennels.
Brittany Jackson
Supervisor
Brittany has a degree in animal care, in her spare time she cares for her horses and many dogs
Laura Watts
Kennel Technician
Laura has a degree in animal behaviour and welfare and has a huge love for bulldogs.
